Murrundindi visits St Mark’s!

Hi everyone!

My name is Ava and my Poppy, Murrundindi came to school on Monday the 6th of June.  He told us about when he was a little boy. He didn’t go to school when he was young. He is 70 years old now! Murrundindi played the didgeridoo for us and we had to guess the animal sounds he was playing. He calls us his sisters and brothers. He through the boomerang for us but said it was a terrible throw because of the wind. He will come back in November to let all the children throw the boomerangs! We are looking forward to that!

Bye from Ava Inglis 3/4 F

    Hi 3/4s

Welcome back 3/4s. The mindset that I would choose is a growth mindset because I do not like giving up and saying I can not do it. My goal for this year is I want to be better at Maths and reading also spelling. The challenge that I am looking forward to this year is Maths in fractions and inquiry projects. I am going to be nice to everyone and show a good example and help the grade 3s.
